They became parents of two lovely children and progressively changed their way of living to the more holistic vegetarian way of life.
In 2006 they decided to sell up all their assets and follow their dreams of owning their own farm in the Western Cape and striving for a life of subsistence farming away from the pollution and crime of Johannesburg. Quarry Lake Estate is their “place of peace” where they have created magnificent organic vegetable gardens supplying shops and restaurants in Plettenberg Bay.
Lello also manufactures unique furniture, doors and other wooden creations, in the name of Amano and his newest venture “Cibo Vivo” (Living Foods) manufactures organic vegan foods and will be distributed countrywide. Lisa has followed her life long passion of horses and runs a horse friendly livery yard. They have both found their passions on this magnificent farm on the Bitou River and their dream is to become completely self sufficient and pass on their legacy to their children.
